It is hard to imagine a more beautifully situated tearoom than ours, the location is unique. The view from the window is not of traffic, hustle and bustle, instead Thortergill's woodland, gardens and wildlife make it a constant delight.

Inside it is tea and coffee lovers paradise, we offer a selection of 11 different coffees and 24 different teas, strong to mild coffee, English Breakfast to China Gunpowder tea!

A large selection of cakes, scones and savouries are all freshly baked in the tearoom kitchen, they do not normally have a chance to cool! The pie, quiche and soup change regularly so you never know what they will be from one visit to the next. Our soups are a refreshing change from the normal offerings - something a little different.
